Dr. Lynne Williams, PhD
Research Focus
Lynne J. Williams received her Ph.D. in 2007 at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her recent work is concerned with pattern classifiers in brain imaging, changes and variability in brain activation in ageing and dementia, and the development of conceptual mapping in aging. She is developing statistical techniques to analyse multivariate data as found, for example, in functional brain imaging (including fMRI and fNIRS) and discourse analysis (e.g., multi-block discriminant correspondence analysis, partial least squares analysis). She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Rotman Research Institute working with Dr. Cheryl Grady.
