Kirsti Reinikka is a physiotherapist with graduate education in Public Health. She is the Manager of Rehabilitation Studies at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, a Research Affiliate with the Northwestern Ontario Regional Stroke Network – Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, and works clinically at St. Joseph's Care Group in Thunder Bay. She is an Assistant Professor with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and Lakehead University and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science. She coordinates the Clinical Lab course for Unit V (Community Health/ Community Practice) in the Northern Studies Stream.

Kirsti’s research interests are primarily focussed on the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-based programmes for people living with chronic conditions and the use of Telemedicine technology to increase access to rehabilitation services for people living in rural and remote communities.
