About the Conference

The 2019 Rotman Research Institute Conference, held in partnership with the Baycrest-led Centre for Aging + Brain Health and Mary Furlong & Associates, will share the latest breakthroughs in the prevention and early detection of dementia. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Rotman Research Institute (RRI), this three-day event will consist of formal presentations by leading researchers in medical and lifestyle approaches toward dementia prevention, neuroimaging and psychological biomarkers for early detection of dementia, and innovation in the longevity and brain health market.

About Baycrest’s Rotman Research Institute

The Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest is a premier international centre for the study of human brain function. The RRI's primary research focus is memory and the executive (frontal lobe) functions of the brain, both in normal aging and in the presence of diseases and conditions which affect the brain, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
