- To assess the risks and benefits of statins for stroke prevention
Please note that Behavioural Neurology
Rounds on April 2 are different in that we are joining the NWO Regional Stroke
Network via video teleconference for their presentation. These rounds are once
every two months. The BN Rounds planning committee would appreciate feedback on
these stroke rounds and whether we should continue to join with the stroke
group once every two months for rounds.
Also, please note that the NWO Regional Stroke
Rounds are not accredited under the MOC Royal College Program. I believe that
the stroke group are trying to change this. Thus the April 2 round is not
accredited under Section 1. You can claim Section 2 credits or use the round as
a stimulus for a Personal Learning Project.
This event will be videoconferenced from Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre
We gratefully acknowledge educational grants from Lundbeck Canada Inc., Novartis Inc., and Pfizer Canada which support these rounds
