This session will address the movement towards interdisciplinary approaches to large scale research initiatives. Using genomics research as a point of departure for discussion, Dr. Green will explore the factors driving this movement, and some of the opportunities and challenges that arise in developing and implementing interdisciplinary research initiatives briding science, social science and the humanities.
