Jennifer Hagerty Lingler, PhD, RN

Jennifer Hagerty Lingler, PhD, RN, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing.  Dr. Lingler's research focus is on the psychosocial implications of cognitive disorders, including mild cognitive impairment; research ethics; and  privacy issues.  She has been a nurse practitioner at the University of Pittsburgh Memory Disorders Clinic since 1998 and is the past recipient of the John A. Hartford Foundation "Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity" Scholarship and was an NIMH post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Geriatric Psychiatry.  She is the recent recipient of the 2007 New Investigator Research Grant from the Alzheimer Association for her study "Making Sense of Mild Cognitive Impairment:  An Investigation of Patient and Family Perspectives"
