A significant number of our Holocaust Survivors are experiencing a surge in horrific memory flashbacks and trauma symptoms, toward the ends of their lives. Are we doing everything we can for them, from a moral point of view? Should tampering with emotional valence related to traumatic memories and/or hypnosis be considered? Are these potential interventions morally equivalent?
