Goals and objectives:
  • To review the prevalence of residual symptoms of depression in the elderly and its relationship to relapse.
  • To review the evidence for the CBT of residual symptoms, with a focus on insomnia.
  • To present a case and clinical protocol of CBT of insomnia to reduce relapse in depression in the elderly.
