- Understand and appreciate the clinical epidemiological evidence of an association between major depressive disorder and Alzheimer’s disease.
- Explore possible pathophysiological mechanisms underlying this association.
- Indicate how [11C]SB-13 beta-amyloid positron emission tomography (PET) may contribute to study one of these mechanisms.
