The Brain Power Initiative is a cross-disciplinary collaboration that brings together parents, educators, industry stakeholders and policymakers with researchers and academia from leading institutions, including The Royal Conservatory, TFS – Canada’s International School, Baycrest’s Centre for Brain Fitness, Bloorview Research Institute, the University of Toronto, York University, McMaster University, George Brown College and Centennial College. Collaborative partners will examine what the latest scientific evidence means to the future of education and whether it is possible to have a direct impact on a child’s capacity to learn.

Brain Power Annual Conference - Revolution in Childhood Development - May 3-4, 2012
Keynote speaker: Dr. Sylvain Moreno
The two-day conference – which features inspiring talks by leaders and innovators in the fields of education, media and technology – will spark debate, encourage collaboration, and provoke new ways of thinking.
“Recent scientific discoveries in childhood cognitive training have exciting implications for conceptualizing and improving neuroeducation programs for children of all ages, and potentially for older adults,” says Dr. Sylvain Moreno, Lead Scientist with Baycrest’s Centre for Brain Fitness and a conference keynote speaker on May 3.
