All research projects involving Toronto Academic Hospital Science Network (TAHSN) Institution physicians, staff
(including staff acting as investigators outside the Institution), students (i.e., research within the institution or using institutional resources), or patients, must obtain ethical approval from the Research Ethics Board (REB) before research can begin.
The Clinical Ethics Committee of Baycrest has attempted to bring together statements of values and practice relating to key ethical issues faced by clients, families and health care professionals of Baycrest.
