To bring these distinct backgrounds and skills together, the Baycrest Centre for Brain Fitness, in partnership with MaRS Innovation, hosts an Entrpreneur-Scientist Collaboratory event. The Collaboratory is an event that brings together successful entrepreneurs and scientists interested in commercializing their projects to explore paths to innovation. Entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to hear about the most promising scientific innovations in Toronto and get involved in creating new commercial ventures. By building stronger commercialization networks, scientists are able to draw on community resources to build professional prototypes, explore market potentials, and identify pilot customers.
