The Brain Health Centre Clinics

Baycrest has three clinics focused on the neurological and psychiatric disorders associated with aging. These clinics enable close linkage and interaction of research, education and care.

• The Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic: dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, mild cognitive impairment or abnormal behaviour.
• The Mood and Related Disorders Clinic: depression, bipolar mood disorders, mood disorders associated with other brain disorders, complicated bereavement or anxiety.
• The Louis and Leah Posluns Stroke and Cognition Clinic: stroke survivors with cognitive impairment due to a stroke, focusing on rehabilitation for higher level cognitive issues like perception and memory as well as motor function (movement) issues
